Pick 'n' pluck pre-cubed foam

Pick 'n' Pluck foam is ideal for fitting all sorts of equipment into carry cases securely. Each pack contains Pick 'n' Pluck grid layers with removable foam cubes/plugs, and thin lining foam layers that can be used at the lid and bottom of the case and between Pick 'n' Pluck layers.
Simply lay out your items on the grid with adequate space between them, and remove the plugs to create a snug and protective space for each item.

We stock 2 types of Pick 'n' Pluck foam:

1. Black high load bearing open cell polyether, packaging foam.

2. White Ethafoam very high load bearing semi-rigid foam, ideal for heavier equipment. More information on Ethafoam.

Pick 'n' Pluck Foam can be easily cut to size to match the size of your case.

Pick & pluck black packaging foam

Each pack contains Pick 'n' Pluck foam and lining foam layers.
Each side of the removable plugs in the Pick 'n' Pluck grid is 25mm (1").
Dimensions are 560 x 350mm (22" x 13.8"); the lining foam is 12mm thick.

Pick & pluck semi-rigid white Ethafoam

Made from white Ethafoam which is much firmer, ideal for heavier equipment.
Each pack contains Pick 'n' Pluck Ethafoam and Ethafoam lining layers.
Each side of the removable plugs in the Pick 'n' Pluck grid is 25mm (1").
Dimensions are 560 x 350mm (22" x 13.8"); the lining foam is 12mm thick.

Pick 'n' Pluck Foam - Plucking Steps:

Step 1, Mark the foam

Arrange your items leaving adequate space between each item. When satisfied with the layout, draw arround the items with chalk or mark with toothpicks.

Step 2, Pluck the foam

Carefully and slowly remove each plug in one piece.

Step 3, Insert the items

Insert the items into their cutouts with a snug fit, without compressing the foam too much. To fix any loose areas, put back enough removed plugs and secure them with our spray contact adhesive.
